The Never Summer Ripsaw is a twin shaped, medium stiff flexing twin board with one of their more aggressive hybrid camber profiles.
Compared to boards with the Original Rocker Camber profile, the Ripsaw profile has longer and more exaggerated camber sections, that are designed to give it better stability, pop and edge hold.
It is a decent all-mountain hybrid, but as my other videos show I really prefer camber boards, or at least boards with camber between the feet.
The best feature on the Ripsaw by far (though all Never Summer have the same) is the feel of how the boards turn. They are super easy to turn, give a crazy amount of edge hold for almost no effort - so it is easy to see why people go crazy for these boards, they can make you confident in your riding very quickly.
If you were planning on riding any park, or wanted a board to do a little more freestyle riding on, I would look at the Proto Type 2 instead. It still has the same camber, medium flex with an Asym sidecut but I enjoyed it quite a lot more.
If you were looking at the Ripsaw as an all mountain board, I would also check out the West Bound, it does a better job in powder, and has the same (overall) feel to me as the Ripsaw.
