At the Monastery, you can get a complete guided tour of the museum.
Discover all the different eras the monastery has witnessed and their remains in the current structure. This peaceful area oozes stories of the monks' activities and wealth shows in beautiful detailing both out and indoors. It has served as the royal residence of the very first Viking king of Norway; Harald Fairhair. It was later donated to the monks of Stavanger in the 12th century and has even served as a private mansion long after that.

The white lady :
Her name is Cecilia Catharina Widding Garmann, and she is in direct bloodline with Anders.
She, like many at the time, died in childbirth.
But before the fateful birth began, she made the man promise that he would not remarry if the fatal thing happened. He kept his promise for 20 years before he wanted to remarry. Due to the promise, he did not dare to perform the marriage at the monastery but went to the cathedral.
When he was at the cathedral and goes up the aisle towards his new wife, the deceased Cecilia shows up for him and he falls over. Eight days later he is dead.
-The legend says that she goes again and lives here.
