In this installment of the Living Mountain Lab (previously known as “Knowledge Park”) video series, we walk you through the process of making bio-dynamic compost.
Biodynamic composting is a quick method of producing relatively large quantities of highly nutrient rich compost. It is popular with users who need a lot of compost, such as tea estates, or also with multiple households sharing compost. A range of nutrient-bearing ingredients are added to the compost, which lends it a well-rounded nutrient profile that alleviates the need to add additional macro-nutrients in the form of chemical fertilizers.
