Makita, Milwaukee, and DeWalt batteries have been tested as fully compliant but other brands should work fine, too. This model is 600W continuous and 1200W peak and outputs a pure sine wave. *While not officially supported by MillerTech, the Harbor Freight Bauer and Hercules brands WILL work in this fan and other MillerTech products designed for DeWalt/Milwaukee batteries. However, the locking mechanism will not work to keep the battery in place. So you would have to use a rubber band or something to hold it in place.*
