Montana Bison Burger 🍔
Bison patty, melty cheese, and Classic toppings! 🤩✨
Ingredients:
For the Burger (per burger):
• 6-8 oz Bison Patty (seasoned with salt & pepper) 🦌
• 2 slices Yellow American Cheese 🧀
• 1 Brioche Bun, lightly toasted 🍞
• 2 slices Tomato, patted dry & lightly salted 🍅
• Iceberg Lettuce (as much as you like!) 🥬
• Sunnyside egg optional
For the Sauce (enough for 4 burgers):
• 2 oz Ketchup (4 tbsp) 🍅
• 1 oz Mayo (2 tbsp) 🥄
• 1 oz Yellow Mustard (2 tbsp) 🍯
• 1 oz Sweet Relish (drained, 2 tbsp) optional 🌟
Directions:
1️⃣ Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mayo, mustard, and sweet relish (if using). Stir well and set aside. 🥄
2️⃣ Cook the Bison Patties:
Season the bison patties with salt & pepper. Cook on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium/medium-rare (aim for 130-135°F internal temp) 🔥. Add the cheese on top 1 minute before done, so it melts perfectly! 🧀
3️⃣ Toast the Buns:
While the patties cook, lightly toast your brioche buns on a grill or in a pan until golden brown 🍞✨.
4️⃣ Assemble the Burger:
Spread 2-3 tbsp of the sauce on the bottom bun. Add the cooked bison patty with melted cheese 🧀, then layer with tomato slices 🍅 lettuce 🥬 and egg Optional. Top with the other half of the bun.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Serve hot and enjoy 🍔🤤
