Railfanning Downtown Chicago 3/7/22

Описание: At the start of spring break I took a Monday daytrip to Chicago, Illinois via Amtrak's Blue Water like usual. Before exploring some other sights of Chicago for the umpteenth time, I did a little bit of railfanning at the rather dingy Van Buren Street station for Metra and the South Shore Line. The day's rain and snow mix didn't exactly compliment the existing conditions as cold water dripped onto the platform. After seeing some Metra electrics and a South Shore train, I moved to Washington/Wabash Street station on the Chicago Transit Authority and caught a few CTA trains rushing in and out before getting on a Pink Line train myself to head back towards Quincy station. This video was filmed with a mix of my Nikon DSLR camera and Sony camcorder so that explains the quality changes between certain clips. The clips recorded with my DSLR were just because it was the quickest thing for me to grab instead of having to setup my camcorder on the tripod every time.
