This supercell tracked over the Missouri River Valley in northern Nebraska on Sunday evening prompting tornado warnings and producing large hail and damaging winds. The high moisture content in the atmosphere over this region was from the remnants of hurricane Bud, which moved up from the Pacific, across the Baja and desert Southwest, and into the jet stream over the central Plains.
