This is riding Cannell Plunge as a Loop. We started from our motel, about 6 miles up from the lower Cannell Plunge trailhead at 530AM at an elevation of about 2500'. We rode up along the Kern River, then turned left to Sherman Pass Road where we continued up to Sherman Pass at 9200'. We arrived at Sherman Pass at around 10 in the morning, 4.5 hours after starting. Then we began the Cannell Plunge trail... This first part of the video covers the climb up and the rolling terrain up and down to the actual Cannell Plunge (end portion of the trail).
