Sky News host Sharri Markson says there are “no circumstances” in which it's acceptable to taser an elderly woman, with the officer accused of tasering 95-year-old Clare Nowland being suspended today.
“As I said last night, the officer should, at the very least, stand aside while investigations are underway,” Ms Markson said.
“Police Commissioner Karen Webb had refused to take that action – today, nearly a week after Clare Nowland was tasered, the officer was finally suspended.’”
