This video will show you how to install mods on a Minecraft server at SimpleGameHosting. With this, you will be able to add individual mods to your server and start playing Minecraft with them.

To get started, you will need to change your Minecraft server version to Forge or Fabric. The mod loader and server software you choose depends on the kind of Minecraft mods you want. Forge mods will only work with a Forge server and Fabric mods will only work with a Fabric server.

This can be done by navigating to the versions page. Then, from there, select Forge or Fabric from the drop-down. Click install on the version want. Keep in mind that any mods will need to be for the same Minecraft version as the server software you install. 1.21 mods will not work in 1.23.

After your server is running Forge or Fabric, navigate back to the console page and restart now.

Download any mods you want keeping in mind they need to be for the server software and Minecraft version you selected.

Then, navigate to the "File Manger" tab in the control panel. Open the mods folder, and click the Upload button. Upload the mods you want to install on your Minecraft server.

Finally, navigate back to your console tab and restart the server. When you do, the server will restart and activate your mods.

Before you join your server, you will need to install the mod loader (Forge or Fabric) locally. Then, add the mods you added to the server in your local "mods" folder as well. Once you do that, you can join your server using the IP address found on the Console section of the SimpleGameHosting control panel.
