Earlier today we spoke about Call of Duty allegedly releasing a brand new, next-gen console game. The game has been confirmed to be in development by Sledgehammer games, allegedly being called WW2 Vanguard. There's clearly been mixed reactions but to fill you in, The President and COO of Activision has stated "In particular, we are very excited for this year’s premium Call of Duty release. Development is being led by Sledgehammer Games and the game is looking great and on track for its fall release. This is a built for next generation experience with stunning visuals across campaign, multiplayer and co-operative modes of play, designed to both integrate with and enhance the existing COD ecosystem. We look forward to sharing more details with the community soon"

Since making this video, I've noticed there has been a lot of criticism regarding the alleged upcoming launch by Call of Duty leakers and news figures. Tom Henderson claiming it to be a F ing disaster. Zesty, a popular Call of Duty news and leaker on Twitter wrote a few days ago,

I tweeted about this yesterday, but took it down, as I didn’t have 100% proof, now I do.

SHG might be back to being a “Support Studio”.

It also says “MW2 MPR will release this fall” with “MW/WZ/CW content continuing throughout 2022”!
attaching an image from 4chan that essentially says from an anonymous source that Multiplayer is in a bad place right now.
Although it seems this was clearly not meant to be spoken about with a Discord DMCA notice appearing in the next image - images were sent to Zesty by @thesoapkai on Twitter.

All of this was tweeted roughly a week ago.

It's important to keep in mind that SHG has been claimed to becoming a support studio, however today Sledgehammer Games announced that they are expanding with a new team.
