It would really depend on the quality of the rappers around me

Could it be the pointlessness of this rap is actually
A commentary on society

Is this rap a meta-rap about how most raps are crap
All we grasp is the beat in the back
If the words match with the track we say “this song slaps”
But we should ask for art that means much more than that

Cause eventually we start to believe the things we listen to on repeat
So if we only listen to songs about money and girls
We’ll start to think those are the only things in the world
And if we listen to songs about nothing at all
We’ll start to feel petty, meaningless and small

Is this rap saying we need songs that makes us think about ourselves
Is THAT what this whole thing is REALLY about?

Maybe making meaningless art can be alright
