Old Sneelock's Shares His Favorite Saws

I began sharpening hand saws nearly 30 years ago. I had my first real workshop. It was an old hog barn but I rebuilt it. I had some old tools from my Father and Grandfathers that I wanted to use. In the 7th grade I was exposed to using hand saws in a controlled setting. Mr Reeg, my shop teacher, was intent on having us use one correctly.
My father had taught me how to use a handsaw before he got his first power saw. Mr Reeg was impressed that I could cut a straight line.
When Grampa Nighswander passed I inherited some of his tools. When I began trying to use his saws I realized they were dreadfully dull.
Thus began the journey that brought me here. With a saw till full of good saws and another full of saws waiting to be reborn.
