World Premiere of the wonderful Ms. Alma Deutscher's warm and memorable composition "Dance of the Solent Mermaids", which was commissioned for the Solent music festival in late 2014, and premiered January 2015. I found this particular performance of the piece on Dailymotion, noticed it hadn't been uploaded to YouTube yet, so I decided to upload it here for your convenience and enjoyment, so relax and be transported to a magical ballroom in the sea, where mermaids dance and ride the wild waves of the ocean blue.
(PS you have to love the ending where she comes up on stage! You could tell everyone was genuinely gobsmacked, including the conductor.)
