Описание: Noel Edmonds looks at the weekly pop chart from 24th July 1975 and introduces The Sweet, The Wombles, The Bee Gees, Sparks, Linda Lewis, Smokey, Roger Whittaker, Linda Carr & The Love Squad, Bing Crosby, Bay City Rollers, The Rubettes and a Pans People dance sequence.

"Go girls" so remarks elderly gent Bing Crosby, who he was referring to was of course Pans People.

Here we have one of the finest pans People routines from 1975 (and there were alot of them), dancing to Hamilton Bohannon's moderate chart hit 'Foot Stompin' Music' (his biggest hit was in 1978 under the name 'Bohannon')

Well now we know where Bill Bixby got the idea for shredded jeans from a couple of years later for the smash MCA TV show 'The Incredible Hulk' (nope never heard of it, have you??) and lookee here those same white boots that seem to have got worn well during 1975 (can't check most of the routines as they are wiped) make another appearance.

Alot of podium dancing, single solo routines, hand clapping, jiving, and general funkiness all under some colour changing moon, and the girls in this are at their most sexiest, even with those ripped jeans up to the top of the thigh. On offer we have striped tops (the bouncy Ruth), bikini tops, outstanding looks (Sue looks a billion dollars in this).

Energetic, funky, very bouncing, and totally over the top, but so incredibly enjoyable and infectious. The music certainly gets your feet tapping or stompn' whatever the case maybe. A fine example of early 1975 disco that has overlapped into chart play (ref: KC, Donna Summer who enjoyed notable chart success this year)

Overall a really funky, and dare i say 'dirty' routine by the girls, seriously one will need to buy more flannels at this rate, cos that for me needs another lie down moment.

Guilty pleasure at it's most enjoyable and the girls seem to be enjoying this as much as we (the friendly viewer) do.
