Optical issue with brand new just unboxed Fat Shark HDO+ HDO Plus

I just received my Fat Shark HDO+ goggles and upon unboxing them just now I noticed that the optics appear to have debris inside of them.
There is a black piece of debris that is visible over the screen. The black debris appears in both eyepieces in a different location.
Here is a video taken with my phone of each eyepiece
at around 0:04 in the video you can see in the right eyepiece it is in the lower right corner of the view of the screen
at around 0:22 in the video you can see in the left eyepiece the debris is in focus in the iphone camera
during the rest of the video you can see the debris appear at different locations over the screen as the camera moves around relative to the eyepieces
