GHMC officials are preparing to demolish an illegal seven-floor building in Tolichowki, Hyderabad. According to reports, the building had permission only for G+2 floors, but the owner constructed up to seven floors in violation of the rules.

On the 5th of this month, a tragic accident happened during the construction when wooden supports collapsed. Two people died and four others were injured in the incident.

After the accident, GHMC officials inspected the site and confirmed that the building was built illegally. Following the orders of GHMC Commissioner Karnan, Golconda Zonal Commissioner Mukund Reddy requested police security to carry out the demolition safely.
