Trimix Flooring (VDF Concrete) – Civil Construction
Introduction (परिचय)
Trimix Flooring, जिसे VDF (Vacuum De-watered Flooring) भी कहते हैं

Step 1: Site Inspection & Level Checking
सबसे पहले, कोई भी construction शुरू करने से पहले हम site inspection करते हैं।

साइट साफ़ होनी चाहिए

मिट्टी या PCC की proper compaction जरूरी है

लेज़र लेवल या डम्पी लेवल से हम finished floor level (FFL) मार्क करते हैं

👉 याद रखिए:
अगर base गलत है, तो ऊपर का Trimix भी खराब होगा।

Step 2: Sub-base / PCC Preparation
अब हम sub-base तैयार करते हैं।

मिट्टी को अच्छी तरह से कम्पैक्ट किया जाता है

उसके ऊपर जरूरत अनुसार PCC डाली जाती है

PCC का लेवल सही होना चाहिए

👉 PCC का काम है load को evenly distribute करना।

Step 3: Shuttering & Panel Layout
अब अगला काम है shuttering।

पूरे एरिया को छोटे-छोटे panels में बाँटा जाता है

आमतौर पर 4m × 4m पैनल रखे जाते हैं

MS Channel या Angle से shuttering करते हैं

👉 क्यों?
क्योंकि बड़े एरिया में crack आने की संभावना ज्यादा होती है।

Step 4: Reinforcement / Fiber Fixing
अब structural strength बढ़ाने के लिए reinforcement लगाते हैं।

Design के अनुसार welded wire mesh या TMT bars

कई बार steel fiber या synthetic fiber भी मिलाया जाता है

Cover block देकर mesh को proper level पर रखते हैं

👉 यह step crack control के लिए बहुत जरूरी है।

Step 5: Concrete Pouring by Trimix Machine
अब सबसे important step आता है – Concrete Pouring।

हम Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) का उपयोग करते हैं

Grade आमतौर पर M25 या M30 होता है

Trimix machine से concrete को फैलाते हैं

👉 यहाँ manual काम नहीं, machine controlled work होता है।

Step 6: Vacuum Dewatering Process
अब आता है Trimix का सबसे खास process – Vacuum Dewatering।

पहले filter mat, फिर vacuum mat बिछाते हैं

Vacuum pump से extra water निकालते हैं

👉 इससे क्या फायदा?

Water-cement ratio कम होता है

Concrete ज्यादा dense और strong बनता है

यही चीज Trimix को normal concrete से अलग बनाती है।

Step 7: Power Trowel Finishing
अब जब concrete थोड़ा set हो जाए, तब हम power trowel चलाते हैं।

पहले floating करते हैं

फिर blade finishing करते हैं

👉 इससे surface:

बहुत smooth

hard

dust free बनती है

Step 8: Groove Cutting / Joint Cutting
Concrete hard होने के बाद हम groove cutting करते हैं।

आमतौर पर 24 घंटे के अंदर

Shrinkage crack रोकने के लिए

👉 यह गलती मत करना कि joint ना काटो — बाद में crack खुद बन जाएगा।

Step 9: Curing Process
अब curing का step आता है।

Minimum 7 से 14 दिन curing जरूरी है

Water curing या curing compound इस्तेमाल करते हैं

👉 बिना curing के strongest concrete भी fail हो सकता है।

Step 10: Final Inspection & Handover
अंत में हम checking करते हैं:

Level

Surface finish

Joints

Cracks

सब ठीक होने पर floor को handover कर दिया जाता है।
