As my first Born to Run era upload, I have decided to make it one of the broadcasted shows from that year, the first of two shows on October 17th, 1975 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood!

The Roxy Theatre stand from this year consisted of six shows across four nights from October 16th through the 19th. The two bookend dates were single shows, while the two middle ones were double shows, one show early in the day and one later. The early show from October 18th has been officially released and is held in high regard, deservingly so. This is about twenty-four hours before, and it might just be on the same level! There are a couple setlist changes from that show, for instance, instead of The E Street Shuffle, we have Pretty Flamingo in its place. And instead of Carol closing the show, they run through the Detroit Medley. Like the first show on the 18th, though, they run through a beautiful cover of Goin’ Back. This show was broadcast on the radio, which makes me wonder, could they have this one sitting in the vaults, waiting for a release? Whatever the case may be, this show is fantastic, and everyone is in great shape (the Big Man does make a noticeable mistake during the Detroit Medley, but it’s just a single bad note, not a big deal at all).

This upload is sourced from the Crystal Cat bootleg, although I did some speed correction to Thunder Road up through Jungleland. It should sound approximately correct speed now. Enjoy!
