Hey everyone, I hope you all are having a great day today on this beautiful Monday morning! I'm excited to say that the front subframe, suspension, and steering rack is officially out of the car and we are one step closer to getting that oil pan off and getting that oil pump nut safety wired and loctited for good! In addition, I am excited to get the reinforced Z3 pickup tube in there to make sure that the pickup tube is solid and crack free for the car's life of mechanical abuse to come.
Every part I can take is being taken for powdercoat this week, and the front subframe is getting Condor Speed Shop reinforcement plates welded in along with new Condor Speed shop engine and transmission mounts!
A LOT is going to happen very quickly while this front subframe is out because just like removing the rear subframe, this opens the door for a LOT of "while you're in there" type upgrades and maintenance. We'll see how far I let this spiral out of control.
Anyways, I am so excited to see this project move forward this quickly, and I hope you guys are enjoying following along. There is so much more to come! Your support means the absolute world to me, so thank you again for all the love you guys show. Write a comment below if you're enjoying the new GoPro shots!
Much love,
Griffen
