Mantu is an Afghani Traditional dish. In this video we will take a closer look at he ingredients and process for preparing this delicious Mantu Recipe. Mantu is made with a mixture of mead, Onion and blend of spices which is then wrapped in thin dough and steamed. Mantu is served with a tangy tomato and yoghurt sauce. This recipe is easy to make and is sure to become a favourite in your household. So, join us as we show you how to make this delicious Mantu in just a few easy steps.

So today i am going to cook Mantu How to make Mantu and we will show you that you can make Best Mantu in very easy step.
Mantu is a traditional Afghan dish that consists of steamed dumplings filled with spiced minced beef or lamb and served with a yoghurt-based sauce.
Ingredients for Mantu: -
For Dough:-
2 Cups Flour All Purpose
1 tsp Salt
1 Egg
½ Cup Water
For Filling: -
1 Kg Ground Beef
1 Onion Chopped
1 Coriander Chopped
½ Tsp Black Paper
Salt to Taste
For Sauce :-
2 Cups Yoghurt
1 Cup Tomato Puree
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
Salt to Taste
Cooking Method:-
1. In a large mixing bowl combine the flour and salt beat egg and add it into bowl along with the water and mix it well to form a smooth dough.
2. In a fry pan add some oil and add the beef or lamb add the chopped onion and spices and cook it high heat for a few minutes until the to soft the onion.
3. Make a dough and cut into small circles using a cookie cutter or a glass. Fill a meet in small amount and fold the dough over the filling and pinching the dough edges together and sealed it.
