Renault 5 Super Production (1987) ex Érik Comas - 370hp 1.4-Litre 4-Cylinder Turbo Engine Sound!

Описание: What you see is a rare Renault 5 Super Production built in only six units, and specifically, this is one of the three that competed in 1987. We are at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022. In 1985 the French brand decided to participate in the French Supertourisme Championship, and after a promising first season, in 1986, the driver Jean-Louis Bousquet reached fourth place in the championship. The times were so ripe that for the 1987 season, three of the six cars were further modified and upgraded. The 4-cylinder engine increases the displacement to 1,419cc, using a particular ECU, new intake manifold, a specific camshaft, Garret T4 / T3 turbocharger with a three-lobe shaft and titanium interior. With its 370hp, the car was ready for the assault on the title, which happened when the French driver Érik Comas won it. Quella che vedete è una rara Renault 5 Super Production costruita in solo sei esemplari e nello specifico questa è una delle tre che ha ha gareggiato nel 1987. Ci troviamo al Goodwood festival of Speed 2022. Il marchio francese nel 1985 decise di partecipare al French Supertourisme Championship e dopo una prima stagione promettente, nel 1986 con il pilota Jean-Louis Bousquet raggiunse il quarto posto in campionato. I tempi erano maturi tanto che per la stagione 1987 tre delle sei vetture vennero ulteriormente modificate e potenziate. Il motore 4 cilindri incrementa la cilindrata a 1.419cc, si utilizza apposita ECU, nuovo collettore di aspirazione, un albero a camme specifico, turbocompressore Garret T4/T3 con albero a tre lobi ed interni in titanio. Con i suoi 370hp la vettura era pronta al'assalto del titolo, cosa che avvenne, aggiudicandoselo, con il pilota francese Érik Comas.
