In this on-water performance review, Rowan from Eyachts walks through how the Greenline 39 performs in real conditions.
Hybrid system tested: 11kWh battery paired with the 270hp Yanmar engine.
Starting in electric mode, we demonstrate:
• Real-world electric cruising speeds
• Noise levels and onboard comfort
• Throttle response and manoeuvrability
• Transition from electric to diesel
We then move into diesel operation, covering:
• Speed increments through the rev range
• Fuel burn at 5 to 12 knots
• Wide open throttle performance
• Top speed in tested configuration (16kts)

• Regeneration back into the lithium batteries
The test shows how the Greenline 39 performs at displacement speeds, semi-displacement cruising, and higher throttle settings, highlighting efficiency, visibility, hull balance and comfort underway.
