It can be excruciatingly hard to write your MBA application essays. While there's a lot of advice out there, how do you know you've done the right thing and written a great essay?

In this series, James from GMAT Ninja and Maria from Applicant Lab analyze real MBA application essays, submitted by actual applicants (whose names, of course, have been removed). In this episode, they dissect an essay submitted by a candidate who we'll call "El Toro".
