1. Praise GOD, ye servants of the LORD,
Praise GOD, His name adore.
Yea, blessed be Jehovah’s name
Henceforth and evermore.
From rising sun to where it sets,
Jehovah’s name be praised.
His glory crowns the lofty sky,
Above all nations raised.

2. Oh, who is like the LORD our God
Who dwells in glory high?
Who condescends to see below
The things in earth and sky.
He raises from the dust the poor
Oppressed by poverty.
And from the rubbish heap lifts up
The men that needy be.

3. He lifts the humble up to sit
With princes high in state,
The princes of His people that
Are chief and very great.
The woman without child He gives
A house and family,
To be a mother full of joy.
Praise to the LORD give ye.
