I decided to take a crack at the subject again just for fun and see what I could find. I chose the second Jurassic Park film to tinker with because I remember coming across discussions in the pre-production where the filmmakers said they wanted to pursue a noir look for the film. So, with just a little experimenting, here is what I got, and I'm excited to see what else I can uncover with the technique.

A shout-out to my film mentor in college for once telling me, when I tried to make a noir short documentary and she was giving me her critiques of the rough cut, that noir was not the presence of shadows but the absence of light. That advice still lives in my brain : )
