Camping in a 80,000 year old crater in Bolivia!!

As soon as I heard this place existed I had to go see for myself and let me tell you...
It didn't disappoint! On the contrary, it surpassed my expectations by a lot!
The crater of Jayu Quta in the high plains of bolivia is believed to be 60 to 80 thousand years old. Besides that, a small salt flat was formed in the middle of it. Surprising everyone that approaches, with its beautiful distinctive colors, red and white. If that wasn't enough farmers nearby grow quinoa all around it adding more color with reds, yellows, and greens that are distinctive of the quinoa plant. I'm telling you it's breathtaking, a must for adventures out there. Adventurers I say because you will have to camp, there is no other way. The highlands can be a bit hostile and unpredictable with storms, severe cold, and even lightning (although scary, beautiful to watch from a safe distance). Time it well and you will see amazing sunsets, golden landscapes and the stars, omg, the night sky itself is enough reason to go. Just make sure to pack accordingly and the most important thing of all....have fun!

Tan pronto como supe que existía este lugar, tuve que ir a verlo por mí mismo y dejenme decirles ...
¡No decepcionó! ¡Al contrario, superó mis expectativas por mucho!
Se cree que el cráter de Jayu Quta en el altiplano de Bolivia tiene entre 60 y 80 mil años. Además de eso, se formó un pequeño salar en el medio. Sorprende a todos los que se acercan, con sus hermosos colores distintivos, rojo y blanco. Y si eso no fuera suficiente, los agricultores cercanos cultivan quinua a su alrededor agregando más color con rojos, amarillos y verdes que son distintivos de la planta de quinua. Te digo que es impresionante, imprescindible para los aventureros. Aventureros digo porque tendras que acampar, no hay otro forma. El altiplano pueden ser un poco hostil e impredecible con tormentas, frío severo e incluso relampagos (aunque dan miedo, son hermosos para observar desde una distancia segura). Planen bien y verán puestas de sol increíbles, paisajes dorados y las estrellas, Dios mío, el cielo nocturno en sí es razón suficiente para ir. Solo asegúrate de empacar lo necesrio y lo más importante de todo ... ¡DIVIERTANSE!
