Young Black Brotha Records is the braintrust of Khayree Shaheed (brother of Daraka), and is the record label responsible for launching the rap careers of Mac Dre, Mac Mall, Young Lay, Ray Luv, and Dubee (amongst others). Daraka shares inside stories from the past regarding the formation of the label, it's connection with it's artists, how Khayree led the way, and so much more.
We open the show talking about Daraka's professional baseball career and how that landed him in the music business.
