🏔️ 3 days HIKE to climb JEBEL TOUBKAL in winter, HIGHEST MOUNTAIN in North Africa 4167m - (Part2)

I made the bold decision to hike Jebel Toubkal in winter, the highest mountain in North Africa, standing at a 4,167 meters. But I didn’t choose the easy path. I took on the challenge of doing it in winter, navigating a tough route that would push me to my limits for 3 grueling days. The journey led me over a 3,650-meter peak, where I needed crampons and an ice axe, battling icy slopes and difficult conditions every step of the way. This was no ordinary trek to the Summit of Jebel Toubkal. This video (part 2) covers in detail the second and third day of the below itinerary :

🔹 🔹 🔹 Day 1: Imlil to Azib n Tamsoult
We begin in Imlil (1,740m), the famous starting point for mountaineering adventures. From here, we hike to the top of Tizi-n-Mezzik mountain pass (2,489m), where you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the Imlil area and Azzaden Valley. We descend into the valley, reaching the summer village of Tamsoult (2,250m) for an overnight stay at a refuge. (6 hours of trekking, 800m ascent, 250m descent)

🔹 🔹 🔹 Day 2: Azib n Tamsoult to Toubkal Base Camp
We take on a challenging ascent from the Azzaden Valley, passing the Ighouliden waterfalls and climbing over the Aguelzim Mountain pass (3,560m). After reaching the peak at 3,650m, we head to Toubkal Refuge for the night. (8 hours of trekking, 1,400m ascent, 400m descent)

🔹 🔹 🔹 Day 3: Toubkal Base Camp to Toubkal Summit and Return to Imlil
An early start for the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), offering breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert. After soaking in the panorama, we descend past the refuge and follow the path back to Imlil. This is a long and rewarding day, with 8-9 hours of trekking (900m ascent, 2,500m descent).
