The Maharaja is very tensed and Gopal gets concerned and wants to know the reason. Maharaja replies that Maharani isn't doing well and no medicine is working on her. Maharaja and the minister are in a state of unease as the climate is too hot. They decide to take a swim in the nearby lake. While they're swimming, a naughty monkey comes and snatches their clothes away that was kept outside. Tensed as to how they'll get out, Gopal happens to pass by from there. Puti and her friends insist Gopal to tell them a dacoit story. He goes on to share a tale of an old woman and how she tackled the dacoits!

Such was the genius of Gopal that the King considered him a Navaratna of his court. His statue can still be seen in the palace of Raja Krishnachandra. Stories about his exploits are narrated in Bengal to this day and are immortalized in countless short stories. The stories are short, beautiful, humorous, and have a specific social message. Gopal Bhar is famous for stories of his wisdom, in which he outwits other fellow courtiers.
