The Encounter (2015) Short Film (Remastered)

Описание: The homeowner finds an intruder trying to break into his house. Once the intruder was caught & attempts to make an escape, the homeowner chases after him & was not going to let the intruder get off so easily without a fight.

This short film was originally released on June 5, 2015. I wanted to create a remastered version of my first ever project on the channel & release it as a 10-year anniversary celebration. Working on this project again felt like I was going back in time to 2015 & using my editing skills now to see how it would turn out today. With the remastered version, I've added the cinematic bars, changed the color grading, added some new sound effects & fix some minor errors that I've had in the original cut. Also, during this time 10 years ago, I was getting ready to graduate high school & haven't found my passion for voice acting yet. Before then, I always wanted to make my own fight scene in front of the camera, so I called up Alex, who's a close friend of mine from high school, to help me shoot this fight scene at my house. I also want to give a special shout out to my cameraman, Elvis. Without him, we would've had a difficult time filming this project on our own. Working on remastering this project & remembering the fun times we had shooting this does give me a great feeling of nostalgia. Who knows... maybe one day, we can do some more live-action projects like this again & maybe some new martial arts content on this channel in the future as well.
