The popular battle theme for when you fight Rayquaza (which is the same for the Kyogre and Groudon battles) often overshadows one of the simplest yet most dramatic pieces from the Pokemon soundtrack: Rayquaza's theme, which plays during the cutscene in Emerald when Rayquaza stops Kyogre and Groudon from fighting. That theme, up until they utilized it more fully in ORAS, only appeared during that short cutscene, but it's still just so epic and I had to remix it.
This remix is pretty derivative of the original organ theme, but at some points I pulled in some melodies that worked over the iconic chord progression of the original: the Pokemon Main Theme and RSE Victory Road. I also used (Mega) Rayquaza's battle cry straight from the games in the song itself as well as at one point the iconic chromatic intro to Pokemon battles (in this case I used an un-altered clip from the RBY Trainer Battle)
