Orchid Rehab Day: Moving Rescue Orchids From Bark to LECA

Описание: In today’s video, I’m repotting a few rescue orchids and an Alocasia. Then moving them from their old substrate into LECA in hopes of giving them a fresh start 🌱

I’m definitely not an orchid expert, but I do have basic orchid care experience, and I’ve had decent luck using LECA for plant rehab. These orchids were struggling in their original medium, so instead of putting them back into bark, I decided to try a semi-hydro setup to improve airflow and reduce the risk of root rot.

This isn’t a miracle fix, and I fully expect some sulking but plant rehab is all about patience and learning as you go. If you’re experimenting with LECA, semi-hydro, or rescuing struggling orchids, this video is for you.
