We showed up three days early to our campground in High Springs, Florida — and somehow it turned into one of our favorite RV stops yet.
From kayaking the Santa Fe River and exploring Ginnie Springs to biking the Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail and wandering historic downtown, this small North Florida town surprised us in the best way.
We stayed just off Old Bellamy Road, visited O’Leno State Park, chased sunrises with Willow, and even experienced a little classic RV life chaos on moving day.
If you’re traveling through Florida and looking for clear springs, quiet mornings, and small-town charm, High Springs might be worth the stop.
