Darwish Mohammed Qandeel, a released Palestinian prisoner from Khan Younis, recounts how he was shocked to find 24 members of his family in Gaza were killed despite being promised safety by Israeli forces.
Arrested on 5 December and released a month later, Qandeel described searching for four months for his family before finding their decomposed bodies under the rubble of their home in Gaza. His wife and six children, his mother, and extended family were all killed, found sheltering in their home.
