【World's First】 Demon's Souls SL1 Hitless All Bosses without Rolling/Magic/Parrying (

Описание: This is it, my Demon's Souls magnum opus.

After I finished my first Demon's Souls hitless run a few weeks ago, I thought about doing SL1 hitless. But then... I figured since I had a lot of experience with fighting all of the bosses without rolling, I might as well make the jump straight into SL1 no roll, right? And I might as well do it without magic and make the run 10x harder than it needed to be, because why not?

While I knew I could do it, a lot of doubt was in my mind while attempting this run.
Not good enough. Inconsistent. Washed up.
Turns out that at the end of the day, it really didn't matter. I was more than capable of doing it and so I did. This game is dead now and it can go to hell.

So less about me and more about the game, right?
When it came to routing this, I focused on getting my damage as high as possible as quickly as possible. So I go to 3-1 as soon as I beat 1-1 so I can get Clever Rat Ring, then world 4 so I can get Storm King's soul and Moonshadestone Shards, then finally world 2 for Flamelurker's soul, this way I have everything I need for Morion Blade.
After that setup is done, the run is activated and I have everything I need to deal with the rest of the bosses.

Now when it comes to bosses, they're all mostly fine except for the cracked up trio: Flamelurker, Maneaters and Old King Allant.

Flamelurker is hard to predict. There's dozens of small things you have to learn in order to make the fight consistent and, if I'm being honest, I'm not perfect at it. I nearly died at the end of the kill in this run because of greed but managed to kill him before he hopped, so it paid out. Also, shoutout to MouseInATutu for helping me out so much with this boss - you're a real one.

Maneaters has the most terrible AI ever put into a FromSoftware game. Once again, I nearly died during this boss in this run because I genuinely couldn't tell what the second Maneater was doing, but thankfully I managed to react fast enough and dodge whatever was thrown at me. This boss is also a testament to why my route was important - seeing as they die in literally 6 hits each, so it's a very fast fight.

Old King Allant is pretty much self explanatory. You can watch the fight for yourself and immediately understand why it is such a scary boss. He has super high health even with hyper mode, incredibly fast moves and very tight positioning. You have to be on top of your game at all times in order to consistently dodge his charges. I could only punish him with a single R2 because otherwise he would not get staggered and could instantly kill me after an opening. I nearly fucked up on a charge where I was a bit late, but other than that it was a very clean fight considering how nervous I was.

Oh, and there's a few cool facts about this run as well! Markish discovered the blocking strategy to get through 3-1 arrow trap and I adapted it into no roll, which worked perfectly. On top of that, I discovered a way to perform Regenerator's Skip Ring without rolling by using a running R1 with the Shortsword. These were huge improvements on the run and made it much faster, easier and cleaner than it would've been otherwise. The last interesting fact is that I got this run after only 3 full runs. It took me about 5 streams to get it and only 3 full runs; we went from a 13 hits PB to a hitless run which is mindblowing.

Nothing much more to say about this, so I'd just like to thank everyone for the immense amount of support over the past few years but especially in the past month or so. I'm also extremely happy to get this run with only 5 days left until Elden Ring, and I can't wait to do great things in that game as well.
