Jazmine Sullivan appeared live on stage for the first time anywhere in three years. It was also her first appearance in the UK for five years, performing at KOKO in Camden Town, London on 30/03/14.
It was an emotional performance, with Jazmine sharing some of the reasons behind her abrupt departure from music back in 2011.
She also told the audience that she had finally learnt to love herself, and found the confidence she needed to begin making music once more. She continued by saying that her third album is finally in the works, and after shedding a few tears, sang a new song named 'Masterpiece'.
This was her final song in her set, for her encore. The classic single 'Need You Bad'...
Much love to you Jaz, you looked sensational. Vocally one of the best performers I have ever watched. I look forward to seeing you sing again soon and hearing that new music.
