Australian travellers allowed to return home after finishing hotel quarantine period

Описание: Thousands of Australian travellers forced to quarantine in hotels for two weeks will be allowed to return to their homes on Saturday.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard announced on March 29 that anyone returning to NSW from overseas would be put straight into a quarantine facility for two weeks.

The first 1,300 Australians to fall under that order will leave their quarantine facilities in a large scale, multi-agency operation held by the NSW police force in conjunction to health authorities and the Australian Defence Force.

Travellers who have completed the 14 day quarantine process will be subjected to a final medical check before being allowed to return to their homes.
