Saskatchewan RCMP announces partnership with 211 Saskatchewan

Описание: This past summer, $25,000 in funding has been approved through the RCMP’s Family Violence Initiative Fund. This funding will help front line members to better assist victims during investigations.

In this video, Inspector Tammy Patterson speaks about the new community-led initiative that will raise awareness and provide victims with more access to the different types of social, community and government services available across Saskatchewan.

Officers will receive training on 211 Saskatchewan resources. Along with the training, officers will receive new business cards that provides information on 211 Saskatchewan.

211 is a free, confidential service that is available 24/7 to connect individuals to human services in their community and province by telephone, text, or web chat.
