Thank you for your marvelous suggestions. I am so grateful to study this cute polka! There’s a lot of hopping from 1st to 3rd positions in order to make the first violin part come out strongly, so be aware of that. There’s also some tricky bowings that involve slurs while crossing stings in the form of 16th notes so maybe some right-hand-open string-practice would be useful in those spots. (You’ll see my struggle during the C7-F section.) All in all, I’d strive to use a lot of bow in the detachè style while playing those 16th notes especially if you’re the only violinist playing in the group. Happy Practicing!
