Описание: Elephant Herd Chases Forest Worker: A dramatic incident took place in Patakunda area of Chhendipada forest range in Angul, Odisha, when forest staff went to drive away a herd of elephants that had entered a village. Instead, the elephants chased the forest personnel, forcing one forest worker to climb a mango tree to save his life. The elephant herd reportedly stayed below the tree for nearly one hour, preventing the worker from coming down. When other forest staff arrived to help, the elephants also chased them. The worker finally climbed down after the herd moved back towards the forest. Around 30 elephants are currently present in the area, creating fear among local residents.
