This clean 1961 Gibson ES-355 T in original mono configuration has just come in from the family of its second owner! Most of the ES-355s made in the early 1960s were ordered with the Stereo Varitone feature which was more popular at the time. These days, the mono configuration is a bit more desirable since the stereo version can be difficult to work with.
A previous owner of this guitar swapped the side pull vibrato for a Bigsby tailpiece. While that's not what I would have done, I'll admit that the Bigsby is more stable and fun to play than the side pull.
