[Ming Dynasty 大明风华] The drama tells the story of the early years of the Ming Dynasty, when the country achieved a golden age, exerted its influence overseas, and experienced the reign of five emperors and six political transitions over one hundred years, filled with heroes, epic events, and adventurous tales, as well as a mysterious and unpredictable old dream in Jinling. In the first year of the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty, after the Jingnan campaign, Jianwen Emperor shaved his head and entered the mountains, and his whereabouts became a mystery for posterity. Former subjects of Jianwen Emperor were all killed, including Censor-in-chief Jing Qing and his wife, while their eldest daughter Ruowei was rescued by Deputy General Sun Yu and their second daughter Manyin was rescued by Crown Prince Zhu Gaochi. The siblings, one in the palace and the other in the martial world, both blossomed into young ladies. Ten years later, as Ruowei plotted to assassinate Zhu Di, her sister Manyin married into the palace. During the assassination attempt, Ruowei encountered Zhu Zhanji, the Emperor's grandson. She then witnessed the intricate political turmoil in Jinling City, the Emperor's hidden concerns in the vast twilight, the country's recovery from chaos, the pacification of external wars, the capital's relocation, the opening of the canal, Zheng He's voyages to the West, and the compilation of "Yongle Encyclopedia," a golden age in the making. In the end, Ruowei decided to abandon personal grudges and assist her husband, who had become the Emperor, in seeking the greatest happiness and peace for the people. She experienced the reign of five emperors and six political transitions, and with her grace and wisdom, she repeatedly saved the Ming Dynasty from danger. In the surging tides of history, alone and against the current, she witnessed the birth of a great era.
