Hello viewers! Today I have a Pyle Power PLA2678 4000 watt car amplifier that had a massive crazy failure of the PCB. Split and burnt, this amplifier was well on its way to an e-waste landfill. You will see trace repair, PCB repair, and general tips about amplifier repair. I had to rescue this amplifier no matter the wild printed claim of 4000 watts that is clearly labeled on the top.
This is part of a series of videos where I bring you along with me during the journey of repairing this amplifier. My goal is to bring this back to life so someone in this world can enjoy this amplifier once again. The e-waste problem is real which lead me in this business direction.
