In this interview we are talking with Dr James Dilley, renowned experimental archaeologist and craftsman, specialising in prehistoric technologies.

James’ skills in producing authentic reproductions of prehistoric tools and weapons has led to his work being displayed at The British Museum and Stonehenge, he has also worked with several high profile media companies from the BBC to National Geographic.

In 2009 James founded AncientCraft, https://www.ancientcraft.co.uk/ dedicating its focus towards educating and reconnecting people to their prehistoric heritage and he is routinely asked to demonstrate all manner of prehistoric techniques including flint knapping, fire-making, bronze and copper casting, even demonstrating copper smelting, going all the way from rock to metal using authentic tools and materials.
