. Greevers' Needle was first shown to me by Chris Greevers, thus the AKA. It's real name is Coyote Rock. It's a really cool looking spire that looks like a howling coyote with an even cooler and very accessible 5.4 crack summit! It's at max 12' x 12' and it's approximately 110 feet tall. It's Located just 5 minutes north of Idaho Rd.
Though most of the routes are completely bolted it helps to climb here with a trad mentality.
Helmets are highly recommended.
Recently we have been noticed climbing out here by the residents that live in this area. They have expressed concern about our impact. This includes the parking area. ONLY PARK ALONG EAST SIDE OF IDAHO!
