it is not surprising that 99% of dealers and dentists may don't know the technology behind intraoral scanner, I searched many related explanations of intraoral scanner technologies, but unfortunately there are very fiew articles about that, through knowing the technical background of each scanner can help us have a better understanding of the inherent benefits and limitations of each technology path. as I know, currently there are two mainstream technologies behind intraoral scanner 3d scanning, including confocal microscopy(or called optical sectioning) and triangulalion, here is a video to show the difference between them, if you are interested. you can have a in-depth study on that, welcome further discussion🤓🤓.
