How to Make Exciting Color Choices! - Mountain Meadow Tutorial in Soft Pastel

Описание: Do you ever find yourself going for the same colors while painting? Well, in this REAL TIME Beginner-Friendly tutorial I will share a trick for making exciting color choices.

In this REAL TIME lesson I only had 20 minutes to paint before an important Zoom meeting and I decided to grab colors that I hardly ever use. It was a great exercise in focusing on value over color, but I was pleasantly surprised at some of the interesting color combinations and exciting colors I had hardly ever used.

So, follow along with this tutorial, or just do as I did and try to find those barely or never-used pastels for your next painting. I encourage you to paint small (5" x 7" or so) and make it more of a study. I think you too will be amazed at how those poor little rarely used pastels might surprise and excite you!
