AUS-10 Stainless Steel is a high-carbon premium Japanese stainless steel. AUS-10 has an excellent resistance to rusting. The elements that make up AUS-10 help the steel reach a high level of hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, toughness, and superior edge retention. The hardness of AUS-10 steel is mostly caused by the incredibly high carbon-content of approximately 1.05. As a result the knives can easily be sharpened leaving you with razor-sharp edge. AUS-10 knives wil don’t need to be sharpened frequently.
