When someone asked George Mallory why he climbed Everest, he just said, “Because it was there.” Why do humans take up challenges like the Everest summit when life and death become separated by extremely thin lines? How does a mountain change a human being? Embark on a journey to explore these profound questions. Neelima Pudota is an Author, Mountaineer and a Yoga instructor. After a stint of 10+ years in the corporate world, she chose to follow her calling of mountaineering full time.
Amongst the many mountains she has climbed, in 2016, she became the first woman from Andhra Pradesh to have made a summit attempt on Mt. Everest. Her experiences of the journey is penned down in her book named "From Everest with Love". She is also a bharatanatyam dancer and has been teaching Yoga full time for over 7 years now.
